How To Be Lovely

Look at that happy, chubby face. Nom nom nom nom nom...... Anyhoo, I finally got to actually cleaning my room today after 3 years. While I was rummaging through my stuff and segregating what to keep and things to throw away, I had a lot of WTF moments. Who the heck keeps ping pong balls, grocery plastics, and a gazillion band aids??? Sadly, moi :(  I IS ASHAMED :'(

I am a Class A fvckin hoarder. But I promise to change my shameful hoarding ways and start cleaning my room every week now and throw stuff I don't really use (a painful process for me). I read somewhere that a clean space invites good and positive vibes to come into your life. Also helps to clear your head.

I'm off to finish cleaning up but I'm leaving you guys with one of my fail-proof happy songs from the movie Funny Face. I think every girl should hear this song. It's like a step-by-step guide on the secrets of HOW TO BE LOVELY.....

Be lovely with me?

House of Dreams

I've seen a lot of swanky houses during my lifetime (and that's mostly because I watch too many MTV Cribs episodes). But I'm always left in awe at the number of bedrooms and bathrooms people can fit in their homes,. Don't even get me started on the basketball courts or mini movie theaters or recording studios some celebrities got goin' on in their cribs. But hey, if you got ridiculous amounts of cash flowing in every second, might as well spend it and spend it BIG! I'd tap that.

So since I do plan on getting ridiculously wealthy and buying my own house someday, I think it'd be really mature of me (not really) to start envisioning and planning what my future house would look like.

THE DREAM HOUSE
  • Funny face. Audrey Hepburn's face on my wall. This woman is my sister from another mister. A doe-eyed goddess. A beacon of light. My mother from another father (I dunno what this means. LOL!). Simply put, I think Audrey is just wonderful (and if you beg to differ, I.WILL.CUT.YOU.. hehe).

  • A birdcage inside a fish cage. Say whut? Whoever thought of this bizarre concept is a genius! A birdcage in the center of an aquarium. I must, I must, I must have it for myself!

  • A shoe haven. A closet especially made just for shoes is a must for every girl.

  • Booked staircase. I love reading! Therefore, I'm on my way to having a serious collection of books and will need some space to put them in. You think I'd settle for some humdrum library but NUH-UH! This right here takes the cake. A staircase filled with books! You think you're just climbing down normal boring old stairs and BAM! The sight of my book collection hits yah. That's serious mind-fuck right there...

  • Living dead. I want my living room to have high ceilings and have a big ass mural of a corpse that looks like Abraham Lincoln if he was more street and urban. This would be the chillest kick-it spot ever!!!

  • Secret garden. I love frolicking around gardens and backyards that seem to lead you to creepy forests. A house wouldn't be complete if it didn't have some sort of plant growth around it. That is why I need a garden. Particularly one that makes me want to pretend I'm a forest nymph who eats flowers and beetles for lunch and runs around naked.

  •  Pink surprise. Wouldn't it be lovely if I had a huge pink front door to welcome my guests? It may be a bit gay and some would say it subconsciously resembles a vajayjay, but trust me, once you get inside this pink door you'll want to stay inside forever. Okay, that sounded dirty. haha!

  • Man, oh man. And lastly but definitely not the least, a fine looking fella who lives in this house with me. Clue: We're roomies (*awinky-dink-dink)

But seriously, if I had a sweet ass man with me, I'd ditch this whole home-furnishing plan and just live on an island somewhere and have him all to myself. *naughty grin*

Don't you think my future house is THE BOMB?

Photo Diary: SINULOG 2012 Day 2

Day 2: The Mardi Gras. It was the biggest crowd so far. I think more than a million (or was it 3 million?) people came out to the streets to celebrate Sinulog this year. It was a city-wide party and everybody wanted in on the action. Tralalalalalalalalala!

I do apologize for the very heavy pic spam on this post. But it is mandatory that I show everything that happened. Because like every good blogger, I want you to feel as if you're holding my hand while we're mindlessly dancing on the streets, or shouting profanities at random people who are blocking our view from a cute celebrity, or elbowing people in their ribcage 'coz they won't let us pass through, or getting our faces smeared with paint by really hot guys......tihihihihihi.. Who knew hot guys and paint were a good pair?

Everything started out clean and fresh and dry.. haha!

I wish I was light enough to hop on someone's shoulders and make them my donkey for a day..

Lusting over this fish eye camera. I love that it still uses film.

Had dinner at Robinsons Cybergate to escape the crowd and fill our empty tummies. As night fell, so did our sanities.......

The aftermaths of chugging beer on the sidewalk... We literally took a beer bath. Genius!

I had no idea this cutie was there the whole time. I did not look cute choking on a tube while gargling beer :(

Everything kind of went wild after the whole beer chugging scenario.. haha!

We hopped from one block party.......

                                 To the next block party..........

To another block party.. Basically, we were just screaming our way through the streets looking for a party to crash.

Somehow, I could not take a good picture of Frank Magalona with people showering us with alcohol every 5 seconds.. FUUUUUUUUUUN!!!

We were a little tight on car seats so they had to shove their cute little asses in the trunk of the car.. haha!

Finally got to see the Walkie Talkies perform! I loooooove them! Got to take a picture with Raleene Cabrera, one of my favorite bloggers, too! :)

Also got to see Paolo Valenciano's band, Salamin, perform that night.

This was, hands down, the best Sinulog I've had so far. I'd do it all over again if I could. Beer baths and all :)

Take a bath in beer with me next year?

Photo Diary: SINULOG 2012 Day 1

Lagged post. I know. But now that I finally got the chance to blog about this year's Sinulog, I wanted to share some of the picsies to show you just how everything went. WARNING: heavy pic spam coming through!

Day 1: Foot Procession. I think this year's number of devotees who joined the procession was the biggest one yet. You literally have to elbow your way in the crowd. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun.

He is officially the chubbiest Batman I've seen! Wanted to steal his shirt.
                                         Such a cutie patootie!

I love how this little girl's dress unintentionally matches her Sto. NiƱo's robes.

I can spot corn 3 miles away. That's how much I love it.

Needed to take a picture of this girl's satchel.. haha!

Wasn't I lucky I didn't suffocate in the crowd this year? :)

Pictures of day 2 are coming up! Keywords: WET & WILD (*creepy grin*)
