A night of art, free food, good company, and hot musicians with really good taste in shoes.

This is why I love going to art exhibits. When you got an open mind, you always meet the strangest and most wonderful people.

I should take my friends to go eat at ALPS (A Little Piece of Sky) Cafe.

It's one of those quaint little places wherein if you don't know where it is, you'll probably never find it.

A little kind of treasure-hunting, if you will.

New Girl {Le Music}

I feel like I'm the new girl in my neighborhood despite the fact

that I've lived here my whole life. Because I ventured into

the "uncharted" areas in my village just to look for a good spot

to longboard, I met some pretty interesting people this summer.

And by people, I mean a bunch of 4 year olds and 9 year olds.

Never had neighborhood friends before (how sad is that?).

These kids turned out to be pretty cool (and they curse like sailors!).

Anyhoo, you guys should listen to this song by Teron Beal.
Kind of reminds me of Prince :)

has been on repeat on my ipod for the last 2 weeks.

And I would like to dedicate this song to the love of my life, Loki.

 Yes, yes.. I know he's the bad guy and he's out to rule
and destroy our planet. But underneath that angry, steel-like
exterior is a misunderstood creature who is just longing to be
accepted and loved. *Sigh* Or maybe he's just pure evil, but
either way, I'd still tap that.. Mmhmm..

So I ventured into the weird side of youtube again and

got introduced to the most wonderful set of beard on anyone's chin.

I could write a whole essay about how I am in love with this beard

and how I want to caress it and brush it, and live in it's fluffiness forever.

 This is what I've been doing for the last few days. I just listen to this song

and stare at Mr. Fitzsimmons' beard and all my problems just seem to go away.

 

 I bet it's the beard that makes the beats so fresh whilst making his voice oh so soft.

Had the most amazing Monday!! I found me a cheap vintage-y girly bicycle!! Just like the one I wanted on my Birthday Wishlist. It's not pink but that could easily be fixed. Going to pick up my new baby tomorrow!! Wonder what name I'm going to give it :)

90s Groupie {The Hansons Concert}

 Here's what I decided to wear during The Hansons concert. My sister forced me to come and I couldn't say no. Pssshh.

One minute I'm calm, and the next thing you know I'm screaming my head off wishing I was going to a Van Halen concert instead of watching The Hansons. The constipated look on my face... I can't even...

Balcony seats!! Yeeeaaah!! haha.. I'm sorry. We're cheap like that. And I'm not really into spending too much money on a concert wherein I only know 2 songs. hahaha!

Holy Smithereens!!! Someone accidentally spilled a bucket of sexy on these guys. I still remember the first time I saw there video for their song MMBOP. I was 5 years old and I was very confused if they were girls or boys with really long princess-y blonde hairs..  Those were the days. #Neighborhoodies

I was quite surprised that I actually had fun. Wow I had fun. I guess the 90s kid in me took over and decided to scream like an obsessed fan girl and do tacky 90s dance moves. I was Mmmbopping all the way home.

Fluorescent Adolescent

Just realized how awkward I look when I don't know how to pose for pictures. But that won't stop me from being ultra excited for March since I'll be turning the big 2-0 this month!!! Oho oho oho.. This probably means I'll have to say goodbye to being a teenage vixen (more like creeper) but I can't say I'm too sullen. I'm actually quite excited for my WILD 20's! Hopefully it'll be one big cabaret show with random song and dance numbers. Just like how I imagined it in my egg-shaped head :)

Comfort In Your Strangeness

Saw this maxi skirt while I was going (more like scavenging) through thrift stores around the city. I would have preferred it to be all black but I think the bronze-colored flower details adds to its vintage-y charm (smelled real vintage-y too, if you know what I mean. haha!)

Now watch me fly and do a twirl in a creepy back lot! It's awesome how I look headless.

I'm glad I still look ultra FASHYON a second before falling on the rocks while trying to walk barefoot in this darn long skirt. (patting myself on the back) #Neighborhoodies

I wonder if you think me strange for walking around barefoot in creepy backyards and dressing like a witch to welcome the month of love.

But I like the strange. I find comfort in it...
