The Little Secrets: Venus Exhibit

A night of art, free food, good company, and hot musicians with really good taste in shoes.

This is why I love going to art exhibits. When you got an open mind, you always meet the strangest and most wonderful people.

I should take my friends to go eat at ALPS (A Little Piece of Sky) Cafe.

It's one of those quaint little places wherein if you don't know where it is, you'll probably never find it.

A little kind of treasure-hunting, if you will.

Friday Movie Night {La Belle Personne}

J'aime les films. J'adore le cinéma.

I love movies.  I adore the cinema.

 With that said, I've decided that every Friday night will be

movie night in this blog. It'll be fun. Trust me. haha

You'll be reading about movies that I've seen, haven't seen (but wish to see), 

and some I couldn't get a copy of on the internet (boo).

But all of them are beautifully-made and inspiring in their own way.

Just the way movies should be.

So first up is the 2008 French film directed by Christophe Honoré

I would die happy if someone said this to me. For reals.

Frankly, I don't think I'd mind having my hot Italian teacher

stare at me all day. Just as long as he looks like Louis Garrel and wears

a suit all the time. I won't even care if it seems like he doesn't own a comb.

Bright Lights, Bigger City

                                  Everything here is illuminated.

                                    Nothing is how it seems.

                           But maybe it's just how you really see the world.

                                    It's all just one big blur.

                                  Like beautiful vague silhouettes.

                       Or incandescent lights dancing off of each other.

                                       Nothing here is real.

                                            Just strange.

Gotta Have 'Em!

I've posted a new list of the things I'm currently itching to have. I'll probably change it next week seeing as I don't have enough loot to buy all of these. Hopefully mi mama is feeling generous these days *evil laugh...

My "Rhyme of The Day" is the BOMB! You'll be reading more of my psychedelic poetic tendencies in the foreseeable future :)  (I like it when I rhyme)
