Birthday Wishlist 2014

 1. Really girly rollerblades
(Just so I can pretend I'm Farah Fawcett in a 70s skating rink with a milkshake in hand and wearing really tight shorts)

 2. Baby turtles!!!
(But Sinpin won't let me have one or three.. boo!)

 3. A slice of heaven
(I've been pregnant for 6 months now and I still haven't had a single slice of Banoffee pie! Where is my Banoffee pie???)

 4. Roses on my board
(I'm hoping the cool cat will make me a longboard with flowers at the back. Just in time for when I can get back on a board and skate my sunshine-y ass off.)

 5. A Movie Marathon
(Nothin' better than turning down all the lights, buckets of cheddar-flavored popcorn ready, and watching really good movies from a projector.)

6. And this last one is for someone to just formally declare me as Queen of Summertime!

I haven't blogged about my random "lists" in ages. Finally made one just in time for my 22nd Birthday! I can finally sing that Taylor Swift song "22" and actually feeling like I'm 22 hahaha

Happy Birthday, Sisterette!

My sister hates it when I post pictures of her in this here blog. So I'm keeping this short and giving her a shout out on her 23rd Birthday! xxx

Me oh my! I almost forgot how much I love eating at Oh Georg!
They have the best meals, really good cakes, and they're not too pricey. You guys should really dine there if you haven't gone yet. I can still taste the redness of that red velvet cake.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

It was mi mama's birthday yesterday so we decided to
go out and have lunch at this restaurant my neighbor owns.
EVOO is what it's called. It stands for Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
The place was really cool. Not too shabby for a guy who's only 21!
As much as I wanted this post to be about the food, sadly I wasn't
able to get good food pics since we chowed down as soon as our orders
arrived. Our bad! So let me just settle for an outfit post instead! haha

This is what I usually wear during Sunday Mass.
It's either a skirt or a dress. I used to hate it when my mother made
my sister and I wear skirts while the other girls got to wear pants. Made
me feel really old-fashioned. Which was not how I wanted to dress at that time.
But I really do appreciate how my mother wanted us to look proper and
lady-like. It was really all about respect.

Chose this wall as my backdrop because this is what I call ART.
Or rather the only art I am capable of doing. haha! But really, the wall spoke
to me of something deeper than just shooing people off who were not
members of this so called HGS club/society. It spoke to me of authority
and the truth of social hierarchy and how white paint looks really
good on a gray background and I'm rambling and just realized that
I don't know jack shit about art. It's time to ignore the crazy girl.

So here's a picture of me looking like I'm really enjoying
the scorching summer heat and the wind in my hair.....

And another one of me looking pretty clueless or stoned. Your choice.

After lunch, we rushed off to our new favorite cupcake place, Sweet Little Things.
It was funny how I looked like the cupcake I ate. #Neigborhoodies

And an obligatory shot of the B-day girl herself posing with her
favorite Lemon Poppy Seed Cupcake!!!
She would kill me if she sees this picture of how I freely decided
to add a tiara on her head. Thank God she's got a great sense of humor? hahaha!
But hey, she's the Birthday girl and a great mom so I say the woman deserves to feel like
Princess Di for a day with a cupcake and a glimmering tiara.
Follow I Like Your Ears
Happy Candles & Cakes Day, Mama!!! Kiss Kiss Hug Hug xxoo

Birthday Secrets

Lagged post but I'm back now! Exams week is finally over and summer's here! Mwahahahaha! Just thinking about all the fun stuff I want to do (or not do) for this summer makes me all giddy inside. But more on that later. I'm giving myself a well-deserved pat on the back for surviving my third year in college and turning the big 2-0 without resentment! (yeyy me!)

So here's a bit of a photo diary for what went down during my birthday. As always, I spend it with la familia. <3 Didn't really plan the whole thing out but we ended up eating at one of Cebu's best-kept secret restaurants. That's because you have to know where it is to know that it actually exists. haha!

The fish fillet I had was divine! I am not over-exaggerating when I say it melts in your mouth because hells yeah it totally did melt in my mouth. I'm sure to have that again when I go back.
Their Uzobuco (I don't know if I spelled that right) is a customer favorite. That was some goood tender beef. My grandma even opted to suck out all the marrow. haha! #Neighborhoodies
And of course there's the mandatory two ice cream scoops for desert for ze birthday girl a.k.a MOI!

Apparently the owner collects all these bad boys. A BMW, 2 Ducati motorcycles, 3 ATVs.. What's not to like? This one reminds me of one of the Autobots from Transformers. Rock on!
The next little secret place we went to was this newly opened cupcake shop called Sweet Little Things. I swear if you didn't know where it was then you wouldn't even know it existed, too. Is this the new business trend now? Keep your cafes and restaurants a secret and hopefully people will wander off into deserted street corners and find out about you? Hmm.. Sounds a little shady to me but then what do I know? haha.. All this girly cares about is kinky cuppycakes!! Nomnomnomnomnom..

My favorites are Monkey Business and Cookies & Cream. But then their bestseller is the Flourless Mudpie.

Le mama looking like a prim and proper lady.. Oho oho oho
Random girl gets to be in the shot, too. haha! I give you claps for studying real hard! Clappity-clap!

Read all three books of The Hunger Games trilogy for 3 straight nights (instead of studying. Bad girl!) Have you guys watched the movie yet? I've watched it thrice already :( How obsessed am I?

Birthday Wishlist 2012

Oh the lovely things I want for my birthday.... Let me have them all.......

 1. a LONGBOARD. I have been pretty desperate for months to get my hands (or my legs) on one. I think longboarding is as close as I'll get to actually liking and participating in a sport.. haha! I've been saving up and me thinks it's high time I actually own one.

 2. a PRETTY PINK VINTAGE BICYCLE. a basket on the front is a must! These picture below pretty much explains why I need one.

 3. KICK ASS BOOTS. I want boots. A pair of Doc Martens would be really good but seeing as I am not in any way able to afford those, I guess I'll just settle for something else. But it still has to be kick-ass! Preferably with spikes. tihihihii

 4. SKULL BAG. THIS BAG. I WANT IT. IT'S GOT SKULLS. TINY ONES. Point made.

 5. SKELETON BRACELET. I noticed how this list got a bit creepy with the whole skeleton obsession.. haha! I can't help it though. This bracelet is just too cool for words. And it's gold!! I love my gold!!

6. a KNUCKLE RING. Why I want one I don't even know. It's just really shiny..... and pretty. But I'd look totally badass wearing it around. Hopefully no one thinks I'm in some sort of gang and would be obliged to stab me. hehe

Wishes do come true, right? Sometimes? Yes?

Fluorescent Adolescent

Just realized how awkward I look when I don't know how to pose for pictures. But that won't stop me from being ultra excited for March since I'll be turning the big 2-0 this month!!! Oho oho oho.. This probably means I'll have to say goodbye to being a teenage vixen (more like creeper) but I can't say I'm too sullen. I'm actually quite excited for my WILD 20's! Hopefully it'll be one big cabaret show with random song and dance numbers. Just like how I imagined it in my egg-shaped head :)

Does this mean more outfit posts? :) watch and see....
