Found this black tulle skirt during a recent trip to the thrift store.
I'm not even sure whether I'm ever gonna wear this thing anywhere besides
the creepy back lot of our house. But it was love at first sight and I knew I just
had to have it (that or it could've been the really really cheap price).
Either ways I still think it was l'amour. Cheap l'amour. haha!
Wish I didn't look like such an awkward freak in most of the pictures?
Well honey, that makes two of us. I was resisting the urge to skip and twirl and do pirouettes.
The adult in me (scoff) was telling kid me (yeyy) to behave and pose like
Frida Kahlo (without the unibrow). But the skirt. The skirt made me do it.
I look like a 12 year old kid who was pretty pissed off because
her ballet recital didn't go as planned and she wasn't chosen to play the swan queen.
D-d-d-divaaaaaaa!!!
You guys probably don't notice but I did my hair up in a halo braid. I'll post the youtube tutorial I learned from in ze next post. Til' then my lovely doves... Dance in your skirts 'coz it makes the world a happier place :) #Neighborhoodies
Look at that happy, chubby face. Nom nom nom nom nom...... Anyhoo, I finally got to actually cleaning my room today after 3 years. While I was rummaging through my stuff and segregating what to keep and things to throw away, I had a lot of WTF moments. Who the heck keeps ping pong balls, grocery plastics, and a gazillion band aids??? Sadly, moi :( I IS ASHAMED :'(
I am a Class A fvckin hoarder. But I promise to change my shameful hoarding ways and start cleaning my room every week now and throw stuff I don't really use (a painful process for me). I read somewhere that a clean space invites good and positive vibes to come into your life. Also helps to clear your head.
I'm off to finish cleaning up but I'm leaving you guys with one of my fail-proof happy songs from the movie Funny Face. I think every girl should hear this song. It's like a step-by-step guide on the secrets of HOW TO BE LOVELY.....
Just felt like jumping up and down in a random covered walk for no apparent reason. I think people should do that more often. Gets the endorphins going. HAHA! Anyways, just wanted to show off the polka dot skirt I made two summers ago. I'm a proud mama! Sadly I forgot everything about pattern-making. I'm planning on taking one of those short sewing and pattern-making courses that FIDA is currently offering. Maybe during the summer when I'm not too busy :)
Well, looky here! Look who decided to make a blog and join the rest of you lovely bloggers.
So I know I'm kinda late with the whole start-your-own-blog thing, but what the heck.. Better late than never! ehe ehe ehe.. I don't really know what this whole blog is about yet. But I do know it's going to be capital F-U-N!!!!.. So to satisfy any reader (if ever there are any) who wants to know what I look like, here's a first glimpse of The New Girl..
