Birthday Wishlist 2014

 1. Really girly rollerblades

(Just so I can pretend I'm Farah Fawcett in a 70s skating rink with a milkshake in hand and wearing really tight shorts)

 2. Baby turtles!!! 

(But Sinpin won't let me have one or three.. boo!)

 3. A slice of heaven

(I've been pregnant for 6 months now and I still haven't had a single slice of Banoffee pie! Where is my Banoffee pie???)

 4. Roses on my board

(I'm hoping the cool cat will make me a longboard with flowers at the back. Just in time for when I can get back on a board and skate my sunshine-y ass off.)

 5. A Movie Marathon

(Nothin' better than turning down all the lights, buckets of cheddar-flavored popcorn ready, and watching really good movies from a projector.)

6. And this last one is for someone to just formally declare me as Queen of Summertime!

I haven't blogged about my random "lists" in ages. Finally made one just in time for my 22nd Birthday! I can finally sing that Taylor Swift song "22" and actually feeling like I'm 22 hahaha

Longboard Girls Crew Skate Session

Just a few snippets of one of the most fun skate sessions I'd ever had. A little shout out to the rad chicas of Longboard Girls Crew - Philippines!

Looking at these pictures make me realize how much I really really really miss skating.

Only 3 more months to go until I pop this baby out.

Can't wait to meet him... or her hahaha!

Summer's almost here. And the baby's kicking and doing somersaults inside my tummy.

He can't wait to come out and play, too.

Too bad we can't join the Valentine's Push tonight with other longboarders here in Cebu.

Well, there's always next year. Plus the cool cat and I have plans on finding this secret baby back ribs grill place called DUZ GRILL. Hope we don't get too lost.

The Little Secrets: Venus Exhibit

A night of art, free food, good company, and hot musicians with really good taste in shoes.

This is why I love going to art exhibits. When you got an open mind, you always meet the strangest and most wonderful people.

I should take my friends to go eat at ALPS (A Little Piece of Sky) Cafe.

It's one of those quaint little places wherein if you don't know where it is, you'll probably never find it.

A little kind of treasure-hunting, if you will.

One Night Stands

It was literally like having a one night stand with Dumaguete.

There's nothing like a day of longboard cruising, island hopping, and booze that tastes like rubbing alcohol. Mmmmmm

The cool cat and I were trying to look for good skating spots in the mountains.

Turned out to be a really good day of hiking and getting sniffed in the private parts by over-friendly dogs. Here's hoping for more impromptu adventures this year with our new love. ;)

Save The Whale Sharks

Swimming with the gentle giants in Oslob.

Such magnificent creatures. It's scary and yet exciting to be swimming so close to them.

I wish more is being done to save these endangered species.

People should see how amazing these Whale sharks are and how amazing I am at being a mermaid.

I'm sorry. I just really had to insert that last statement in.

For these first few weeks of May I've been slaving away trying to find a decent job that wouldn't compromise my sleep. I don't think night shifts are for me. Plus irate strangers yelling at me on the phone ain't really my thaaaang.
